AFA Blog: Celebrating World Water Day
Visit afastudies.eku.edu/afa-blog to read our third blog post, from AFA Instructor and Assistant Professor of Environmental Health Dr. Sheila Pressley. In this post, she reviews some helpful water-safety guidelines in light of the recent crisis in Flint, Michigan.
Our goal is to provide a forum for AFA faculty and the rest of the EKU community to discuss issues and events relevant to the African and African American experience. So, every few weeks we’ll be posting new content from our faculty, covering their own research interests and recent events in the social, political, and academic worlds. So far, our topics range from African American cemeteries in Kentucky to the Flint water crisis to the new Tarzan movie.
New blog posts will be announced here on Inside Look, but you can also find all our posts at their permanent home, at afastudies.eku.edu/afa-blog. If you’re interested in learning more about the blog, would like to suggest a topic we should cover, or would like to contribute a post of your own, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
